Ignition timing is not adjustable on the electronic ignition bikes.

I can almost guarantee your smoking problems will be fixed once you do the following:
1) Adjust your valves.
2) Clean and re-oil your air filter.
3) Check and fix any intake leaks.
4) Clean/rebuild then sync your carbs.

This is stuff you just have to do! Don't neglect any of those steps or you'll be sorry! ;-)

I just take the valve cover off and do it like any other motor right to adjust the valves. Im really new to motorcycle engines so i'm sorry if my questions sound novice.


Ok I went and drove it around some. There is still smoke and a little popping but both are substaintially less than earlier. Maybe all that gunk in the cylinders just needed burned out I think ima still do what termin said though. Keep your fingers crossed for me guys. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
