    Master Cylinder Piston is Free!

After extended soaking in Liquid Wrench I was finally able to free the circlip and remove the piston from the '78 GS750 front MC. I was certainly shocked to see a clean, shiny rust-free barrel. The piston, spring, and rubber cups were quite another story. Looking at the onlin part fische, I see that the piston assembly is available, but I cannot tell from the picture if this includes the spring and attached rubber cup on the end. This I managed to destroy in the removal process. Does anyone know if all the necessary pieces come with the piston assembly? If not, any ideas where I can find a spring and rubber cup?

    Thanks,
    rickt

Came with the kit for the 450. 750 "should" be the same.

You want the piston/cup set. I believe yours is the same as my '79 1000 and many others.
Suzuki part number is 69600-45810. About $26 at the dealer.
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

Changed mine last year. Got an original suzuki one for about £20 here in the UK. You get all the parts and the circlip that hold it together, so no worries if you go genuine.

Rebuilt mine a couple of months ago. I believe the Suzuki rebuild kit is part number 59600-45811 and it contains everything you need.
