    GS1100 Exhaust on a GS1000??

Does anyone know if an exhaust from a 1981 GS1100 will fit on my 1980 GS1000? Or if I can get a GS750 exhaust to fit?

    Thanks in advance!

The best place to look for answers for questions like this is one of the online parts fiches. This is a good one: http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm
It looks like there are significant differences between ehxausts for an 81 1100E & an 80 GS1000 E or G. Is it possible to compare mounting points & bends on the two different Exhausts?

No won't fit as the cylinder spacing is different, the 1100 is wider.

Thanks....I thought it might have been different.

Do you know if a gs750 header will fit my 80 gs1000?

Thanks Terry...The microfiches would help me out with bends....but I need dimentions....Mounting tabs would not really be a problem.....I would just weld my own on.

I put a GS 1000 "E" 4 into 1 on my GS 1100 "E". There was no problem with the ex. port spacing, the header pipes fit right in. The problem was the rear of the pipe stuck out apprx. 6" to the right side, a low to the ground. Couldn't lean to the right much at all.
