    conversion from kgfm (Dutch term?) to Nm to tighten bolts.

    I rebuild the head of my bike and am ready to reassemble it but my manual doesn't give Nm's as a term but kgfm, maybe footpounds??? My torque wrench reads in Nm's.
    Does anybody know the conversion, I know it's pretty close. Also on the headgasket do I have to use silicone gasket or something or just assemble it dry?

    (I hope the above makes some sense, my technical english isn't too good)

    Per http://www.tohnichi.com/whatstor.html
    kgfm = Kilogram Force Meter
    and
    1 kgfm = 9.81Nm

    There was mention of a conversion program on here a couple of weeks (months) ago. But can't remember the URL (Sorry). It would pretty much convert anything to anything.
    Anybody remember where that program was?

    Nevermind found it. http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/
