Sagging Footpegs
The front foot pegs on my recently acquired GS650GLZ are sagging to the point of being unusable. I haven't taken them apart or taken the mounts off the bike, but as beefy as the mounts are I cannot imagine the mounts are bent. I guess there is the possibility of the actual foot rests being bent, but that also seems unlikely in my opinion. In my travels through the archives I saw this mallady mentioned once or twice, but it doesn't seem to be a prevelent issue. How should I go about resolving this? If I replace the bushings (still available from Suzuki) will the sagging be solved? Should I look into creating a solid mount solution? Should I try to buy another set of peg mounts to determine if my mounts are bent? Thanks for the help.Tags: None

I would suggest dis-assembly to see if the bushes are worn or if the hole in the peg is worn, these are the two most likely.
