The ignition timing for your bike is handled by the electronic ignition and is not adjustable unless it has been modified.

The only thing that would effect the timing of your bike is if the signal generator pickups would happen to get bent up or down. The only way that happens is if the cover gets smashed or you hit one turning the crank with a wrench. All you can do in that case is find TDC and make sure the timing mark is right.

"Crashed" is a subset of "modified" in my book.
