turn signals

are the front and rear turn signals the same on a '82 gs1100e...im asking cause i found some short stalk front signals but no short stalk rear signals,and i would really like to shorten these things.thanks in advance

I think the fronts have two circuits: running lights and turn signals. The rears are turn only.

so it can be used than just dont hook up the running light wire,right???

I just finished using a rear turn signal, as temporary replacement, on the front. Worked fine with only the turn sig wire hooked up.
