1100 cams in a 750
Freshening up an '81 GS750 16 valve. I have been told that the GS1100 cams are a bolt in mod for the GS750. My question is: I know I have to use the 750 cam sprockets (they are larger), But will the cams be installed at the same 'timing' as the stock 750 cams? The lift on the 750 cams are .258 on both sides and the 1100 cams ('80-'82) measure .275 intake and .258 exhaust. Looks to me like the 1100 uses the 750 exhaust cam but larger intake. Don't know about the duration though. Can anyone shead any light on this, please advise and thanks.
