    1983 GS550 head torque

I am checking my valve clearances on my bike and figure I might as well re-torque the heads at the same time. Anyone know what the specs are for this? thanks

if you can wait till I get home(6 or 7central time) I'll pull the torque specs out of the haynes manual...

        Leaks?

Unless you've got oil leaks or other related issues, I'd be really reluctant to touch those bolts!:?

16-20 ft lbs according to the factory manual

that seems about right I think mine are set at 18lbft...

the air screws I'll have to look up I have a stage three jet kit in mine and it's only one and a quarter turn out... I could guess the stock number but I'd rather have it correct.

              Leaks?

I don't have any oil lieaks or other issues with the head at all. I'm just checking the valve clearances and my manual says to re-torque the heads at the same time. Maybe I should leave it be then. Thanks for your input
