Questions about gaskets and seals.

As I am preparing for replacing the base gasket and rebuilding the top end on my 83 GS850, I have been picking up a few things here and there. I got Vesrah cam end plugs off Ebay for less than half of of what the Suzuki ones cost. I am also looking at a set of Centauro valve seals on Ebay. Has any one had any experience with Centauro seals, gaskets, ect.?

Anybody ever use Athena gaskets, seals, etc? If so, how did they hold up? Did they fit well?

I have heard good things about Vesrah so I wanted to order a topend gasket set for my 1000 but they were backordered into oblivion so I ordered a Centauro kit instead, base gasket, head gasket, valve cover gasket, valve seals and several other for about $90, I will report the quality when I get to use it for the future reference of other members.

My engine builder uses both although he said the Vesrah head gaskets can have thickness issues depending on the part number? Their brake pads rock however
