    Front sprocket nut size?

How big in mm is the front sprocket nut on an 80 GS1000? Discovered tonight that the biggest socket in the toolbox wasn't big enough for removing it.

    Thanks!

    nut?

27mm or 32mm 100% its one of those. you might need a rattle gun as most people use thread lock when they put them on as its a good idea to do.

      My 1100 and 750 both have/had a 32mm nut.

32 mm socket fits perfectly. Thanks again for the help!

            If you can't find a 32mm, a 1 1/4" socket should work, too. Actual conversion is 1.259".
