GS1150 fairing mirrors
I am fitting an 1150 fairing on my project bike and am debating on whether to use the original 1100e handle bar mirrors or purchase a set that mount to the fairing. I know with my 1100e mirrors I see a bit of shoulder, can you 1150 owners tell me how the view is with the fairing mirrors?
Also do these napolien fairing mirrors look like they would stick as far out as the stock mirrors? Thanks.

As long as the handlebar mirrors are in place first I can fit the fairing. I want to use the fairing mirrors and use the handlebar fittings to secure the fairing. I don't have the fairing mirrors but it seems they will not stick out as far as the handlebar mirrors do.1982 GS1000S Katana

How about some bar-end mirrors? They give a great view behind, shouldn't interfere with the fairing, and are cool looking as well...........

Have a 85 1150es and it had a dandy view of my shoulders. I changed to a set of honda vfr replacement mirrors with longer stalks and problem solved

When I was riding another bike, I used to have a 'dandy view of my shoulders' too. 8-[
Then I adjusted the mirrors outward a bit to show more of the road beside me, rather than behind me. \\/
