    Shaft drive adjustment

I have an 82 GS650G that needed the frame repalced. I noticed that as soon as I start moving, I need to give the handlebars a "tweak" to make it track right. Has anyone had any experience adjusting the drive mechanism? Installed the swingarm per the manual but I think it might need a slight adjustment.
    Thanks.

    Tracking

Hello, just do a quick and dirty alignment with a tight string from your rear tire to the front tire. This is a fast way to see if something is up. Best done with a helper. Good luck.

      frame replacement?

      TLACHANCE,

How did you come up with a frame to replace on your bike? I'm afraid I may need one too if I am going to fix my dogtracking problem on my old Faithful GS650L, too. I still need to rip the front end off and take a close look, but, if my gut is right, new forks won't fix this geometry problem.

Did you go and buy a whole bike someplace and do a "frame-swap"... (or, would that be an "everything-else" swap?)

Did a search for salvage yards. found one in Missouri for $100 with title.
        Saw one recently on Ebay.
