    1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
    1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

      I was so excited that I went and got the camera to take a picture before it was all the way out.. heh

        When I was changing a head gasket I dropped my cam chain down into the case. I was fit to be tied. MY wife suggested I use a magnet on a stick and VOILA the problem was solved. I will never doubt that woman again.

          yup, after about 45 minutes of shaking the bike and jamming magnets into the pan I finally got it, my heart raced when I saw it come out and i was EXTREMELY careful when I was pulling it through, almost lost it when the washer part caught on the edge of the hole comming out (look at pic).
          Magnets are cool...
