That is quite a bit different isnt it.

You may not get this reference being from the homeland but as Roseanna Roseannadanna would say...

    Oh....Never mind.

Lets see... if vaccuum drops to nil at 2500 rpm then something is opening at this rpm and letting alot of air in.
Vacuum is created by the pistons going downward. The only way to let more air in is valves floating at his range or from the intake.

Does vaccuum drop on all cylinders equally when this happens?

If so and your valves are adjusted correctly and you are positive the intake boots are good, then it still has to be timing of the valves for the vacuum to go low in ALL cylinders.

well I have just checked the camshaft timing and the valve clearances and even the length of 20 links in the chain and everything is bang on . Except the 2 and 4 inlet valve clearances were out of spec. 2 was .1 mm which I have corrected now its .04 , 4 is less than .03 so I will have to get a shim for it.
But I don't think this is the solution .All 4 cylinders due vertually the same thing . Also cheked inlet boots but the boots and the o-rings are new , couldn't see anything there. O well there is always tomorrow or the next day
thanks for your help everyone , anymore ideas let me know

I would say more than likely it is an ignition issue.
