caliper rebuild recommendations
I've got the rear caliper completely apart from my 82 1100G. Where's the best place to but a COMPLETE rebuild kit? Does anyone sell rebuilt calipers? Looking at flatout cycles but I need to contact them to find out exactly what their kit contains.
Thanks.Tags: None

Pull the pistons out and inspect them carefully for pitts and scratches. If necessary, replace them. Otherwise, just replace the seals and rubber boots (parts available from the regular sources).Ed
To measure is to know.

On my bike, rebuild kits are no longer available for the front calipers, but you can still buy what you need separately. http://www.z1enterprises.com/ is a good place to find out what's available in a rebuild kit. Call if its not on the website.

All the parts for the rear caliper on the 82 1100G (including the pistons, if you need them) are still available from Suzuki. Check your the dealer, or Bike Bandit, etc... I prefer to get real Suzuki parts if I can.
