Sparkplug size? Could use some help

I'm trying to run a compression test/swap the plugs on my 1984 GS1150EF, but I can't get the damn plugs out. the 13/16 is too big.

Anyone know what size this should be? I'm thinking 16mm (as the 17mm deep I have is too big as well).

Also -- anybody know what kind plugs and oil filter this bike should take? -- -if I have to go get a new socket, might as well pick up new plugs and oil filter while I'm there.

    cheers.

Don't know about your bike in particular, but another common size for plug wrenches is 5/8", which translates to about 15.8 mm. I am sure that a 16 mm socket should fit, but try to use a 6-point socket instead of a 12-point.
