Front brake line measurements for '80 GS1100L

Does anyone know the front brake line measurements for '80 GS1100L? I need to order the stainless steel brakelines and need to do it custom since noone makes a kit. I was just wondering if anyone happened to have the measurements on hand. Thanks!

Chef, have you gotten home yet?

I've actually been debating this.... Its cheaper to just buy the OEM rubber lines and I don't need to do any custom measurements or order the correct banjo fittings. Can anyone tell me how noticeable the performance difference is between rubber and SS in a bike this old?

Here is a return mail from Paragon, give these guys a try.

        Hello Vince

Thank you for your interest I our products however we do not have specifics on a GS1100 LT, we would recommend that if you have the down time to please ship us the original lines in order to match the lines exactly. This would guarantee proper and easy installation, the turn around would typically be the shipping we can ship out same day of receiving the lines, the price would be $166 for a 4 line kit + $9.25 standard UPS charges.

Please give us a call with any questions.

        Thank you

Thanks, this looks like a pretty good alternative. If the performance gains are worth it, this is definitely worth consideration.

            Just walked in the door
If you guys get this figured out I'd like in on the action. I always thought the 80 E model had the same length lines front and rear.
We have the odd duck model.
