1100E swingarm to fit 1000E

Heres a question thats probably been asked before, is an 1100E swingarm a direct swap for a 1000E. Are there mods to be made, I'm having a fun time trying to get this thing to fit. 8O

Just bolt it on, everything fits.

Not sure with the 1000, but my 750 needed custom bushings made for the thru shaft on the swingarm pivot. The 750 shaft was a smaller diameter than the 1100 and I didn't want to drill the frame to fit the larger shaft. My swingarm came off an 83.

The GS1000 chain guard has to be slightly modified to fit.

Thanks it worked,just needed a little coaxing with the dead blow. I see the chain guard needs a little mod, think I'll make one out of flatbar.
