Bike Bandit Part Help for 81GS750L ?
I'm looking at this diagram and just want to be sure I'm getting the right parts. I need a new vacuum hose from petcock to carb. Which hose is it part 472989-001 or 473002-001? I'm assuming this is my bike i'm looking at even though its listed as a 750LX not just an L model? Heres the link........

"WOW", $10 for a little piece of hose. Those lines are nothing special, just a hose. Go to the local parts store & get a piece of vacum line or fuel line that fits tight, put it on & forget it.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. No need for OEM hoses
Just head over to your auto parts store or a local Cycle Gear and get the lines. I picked up a set of good quality clear lines at the new CG here for about the same as that one line. That's $10 for both fuel and vac lines and I have plenty of extra from the 3 ft that they come in. Extra length of fuel line already was used in draining the tank to get at the petcock. Even with what I paid, I probably still paid too much by some I'm sure.Last edited by Guest; 04-24-2007, 06:16 PM.
