You either have charging issues or you have a bad battery.
    Check put the Stator papers.

Chef's Right, A Blinker left On on a Running Bike Shouldn't Be a Problem (other than making You feel Really Old!)

2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Riding with a blinker on may tell motorists your planning to turn. When you go straight into their fender they will know you forgot your blinker so be sure to turn if off after your done.

i checked the voltage of the battery , its around 11v and drops to 10.5 while running. is a bike batter basically the same as a car when doing this test? needs to be over 12v to be a good battery

Clean all "ALL" your connections first...use di-electric grease on all of them when things go back together and make sure that all ground wires are clean and well grounded. Then rerun your test. You should see 12+ volts at an idle and up to 15 volts with the bike turning 5000.

Leaving your turn signal on should not hurt the battery, but it will deplete your supply of blinker fluid.

Better check that reservoir quick. 8-[

I have a question! Was the left blinker on or the right? If so reverse the polarity and it'll be fine.:-D *

I was waiting for someone to post something stupid and the pressure got to me.

                          Chef,

Don't foget your waders. And put the right shot in the gun.

Snipe are wading birds, not much bigger than ducks, so load accordingly. 8-[
