    Rear shock issues

I recent purchased an 81 GS750 and I am going over some maintinance issues with it. One of the things I need to do is that the rubber bushings in the loop end of the shocks are shot. One of them is gone, the other nearly so. Is it possible/practical to replace just the bushings, or should I be looking for a cheap set of shocks?

    Thanks for the time,
    Greg

Replace the shocks -- the originals are completely shot, guaranteed, and they weren't all that great in the first place.

Progressive shocks and springs are about $200 a set, but some people have reported decent results from a set of Chinese-made Emgo/MDI shocks for about $80 a set.

Don't forget to upgrade the fork springs.

Anyone know where these might be purchased?
