    front forks 82 gs1100

hey could any one tell me what the air pressure should be just got her back together after 14 years have a clymer manuel cant find it any where in the i would imagine theres a high low range

Not more than a few pounds; I normally remove the air valves on these old bikes. Doesn't take much air to blow the fork seals. If you use no air at all, that is better than blowing seals.

I think the manual reccommends 8.5 lbs... or somewhere around there

I'm not sure if that's for my GK or the 850....

The proper air pressure is zero, following the removal of the dangerously sagged original junk springs and replacement with Progressives.
