    gsxr 1100

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if a set 1996 gsxr 1100 forks fit on my bike.I have a 1984 gsx 750 ef.I think i might have to change the bearings ???.

If they are a BALL bearing you will have to change the bearings. If they are a tapered bearing, like your original ones, the forks will go right on. Ray.

Looking at the suzuki manuals both Slabside and Slingshot GSXR's had ball bearings.

            Service manual GSXR1100 slabside H/J part no 99500-39062-01E 1986
            Service manual GSXR1100 Slingshot L/M part no 99500-39091-01E 1990

Suzuki show a ball race being installed plus diagrams also show ball race, hence the post.
