The old Vetter Fairing Headlight removal trick?

I can't seem to figure out how to remove my headlight from the vetter fairing now that I've got the fairing off of the bike and on the bench.
Should it be done with a chainsaw?
Or did it originally come with the fairing and not necc with the bike?

(Please say chain saw, please say chainsaw!8-[ )

The more famous Vetter opening device, AKA Texas Chainsaw, (itself followed by the later version Texas Chain Saw)
    is not really necessary.

Reach under the bottom of the headlight and you will find a button.
Push and hold it to release the headlight ring, and then the ring will rotate to come off.

my windjammer 5 has a tab you squeeze then turn and it's off. When you put it back on it will make several clicking noises when it tightens down sort of like a gas cap on your car.
