Can it get worse?? clutch rod bent too

OK.. Thanks for help on my post about shift rod...
Now for worse news... It looks like the PO must have had a chain break or something. The actuator rod for the clutch wobbles where it comes out of the engine on the left side. It looks okay coming out of the seal, but there is a slight bend. This must have been the cause for the extra-heavy clutch lever when I bought it. (I had assumed a few clutch plates were frozen.)

So now I have two bent shafts, one for the shifter & one for the clutch.

How do I get this out and back in? I can't find it in the service manual or the Clymer.
Item #1 is what is bent:

It should just pull out ! Make sure to replace the seal too.

Is it connected to anything? How do I get it back in properly, or does it just slide back in place?

        Help

I need some more help with this. The seal came off with no problem, do I just yank the rod out now? In the pic #2 is metal, how do I remove it?

How do I hook this thing back up?

Nevermind.... I figured it out. Had to cut it off in order for it to pass through. It was bent to much.
