    Splitting The Cases Gs1100g

I'm about to split the cases and would have taken the top off the bottom, but the way I'm reading the manual I have it is telling me to have the motor upside down and take the bottom off the top. I am concerned crap will fall out everywhere.

    Which way should I do?

Do it the way the manual says....
Take the bolts out of the top, turn it over, take the bolts out of the bottom and lift the bottom off....

I just did my 1100E for the first time and that's the way I did it.....nothing feel out.

    Good luck,
    Bob T.

Take the pan off before you turn it over. You'll need to take the oil filter and cover off also.
