You can usually find a Clymer or Haynes manual on Ebay for a decent price. You can order the factory manual from your dealer just like any OEM part. (They're available for my bike so I feel pretty sure yours is available, as well.) I use both the factory and Clymer manuals.....I think both are pretty good and they sort of complement each other is something seems confusing.:-D1980 GS1100E....Number 15!

A few of us have had downloaded manuals from the above site. It took a few days due to some technical issues with the site, but with a bit of patience I was able to download a 350 page factory service manual for my bike.
