I just saw a commercial on the tube for the tornado... It *@%^$*@%^$*@%^$*@%^$es me off that they can straight up lie about crap like that. what ever happened to the laws against false advertising?

they showed this diagram showing the tornado making a big column of spinning air and then showed that big column hitting the air cleaner and breaking up into little columns of spinning air...?

how can anyone be stupid enough to think that the air wouldn?t stop spinning when it hit the air filter.

the only way you might be able to have the air spinning as it passes by the intake valve, is to put little "tornados" in the intake manifold ports..

but either way your engine has to work harder to cause the air to change direction by forcing it through the tornado fins.

    argh!!!!

Or that a new Chrome air cleaner will make your Harley or Vette faster.

          Except in the turbulent areas.

Have you looked around lately. I work at a National Laboratory and the last few years I've seen a lot of people come through here that I wouldn't believe capable of making the decision on when to cross the street.

It will reduce the airflow, especially at high RPM. The motorcycle version was called the "Swarup" and I still have the magazine article that tested it and said it hurt performance.
