i can't get pilot jet out. unscrewed it but it will not come out someone please let me know what to do. i want to get atleast one carb done tonightTags: None

Spray carb cleaner in it and let it sit. It should come out. Also spray carb cleaner into the main jet and block where the needle jet enters and that might force it out.1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.

thank you chef i finally decided to take a straight poker and pound in a little and pull it out. but there was no oring on it?

Were you referring to the fuel mixture screw? no i was refering to pilot jet i thought it did but i got #2 taken apart and it didn't either so figured it didn't

ok so i got #1&2 carbs taken apart and no guidance line on #2 and also no washer or oring on either air mixture screw

i am looking and i think on bike bandit #68 is air screw but not sure how would i get the washer for it?

The washer and o-ring is still in the carb. Take a look with a flashlight.
