If i sitck my fuel line in a gas can...

will there be enough vaccum to suck up the fuel or does it have to be gravity fed?

Position the gas can below the fuel tank and gravity will feed the fuel downward to the can. Don't forget to turn the petcock to Prime.

Are you trying to drain the tank or get gas to the carbs?

If you're trying to feed gas to the carbs, it is a gravity feed.

For carb syncs, I have a small plastic tank sold as a universal replacement coolant catch tank for cars. It has several fittings, and you snip the end off one at the bottom to attach a fuel hose. A little deft work with a coat hanger and pliers, and I made a spiffy custom hanger to hang it from the left grip.

Because enough people will pay $45 for one. I used about $3 in hose fittings from Lowes, some old fuel line I had laying around, and a gas can. Some Saran Wrap and duct tape to seal the connections, and I was set to go.

            No.

No. No suction. Lift the can up to above the carbs.
