LED turn signals and electronic flasher

I just bought an LED taillight/brake light/ license plate 1157 replacement (see Parts for Sale), and I'm planning on going with LED turn signals to save the precious little current our rotor/stator outputs.
Does anyone know if a regular solid-state two pin turn-signal relay will work with an 1156 or comparable LED replacement bulb?
Ledtronics, the manufacturer, says some solid-state relays will flash properly, or to add 50W 6 ohm resistors to load the relay enough for it to flash properly, which is idiotic, since the idea is to reduce current load from bulbs. They also say the load resistors get really hot, and must be kept away from plastic parts so they don't melt. A bulb would STILL be better!

The one on mine works fine, and that is with only rear (multiple led) signals. Got it at a dept/farm supply store.

I am having trouble getting my led directionals to flash. I will let you know when I figure it out.
I dont want to use resistor blocks if I dont have to.

For some reason the last "l" in the URL got wrapped to the next line. Here it is:

I use a SuperBrite Luxeon 3w red LED (1157 replacement) in my tail light. I like it. I haven't tried upgrading the turn signals yet.

                Thank you for your indulgence,
