    Right turn signal busted

The right turn signal on my '78 GS550E seems to be busted. The left signal works with the bike on or off. When the bike's off, and I switch on the right signal, all you can hear is "rapid fire" clicking with no lights. I checked the bulbs and they aren't burnt out. Why would the left signal work but not the right?

Because there might be a loose/broken ground wire on the right side.

Ground, earth, you say tomato, I say potato. Anyway, it was an exposed positive wire. All taken care of.
