    vacuum lines

I have been working on my 80 850G. The guy I bought it from told me he did some carb work. The bike needed an airbox and while putting the tank back on I realized the I have no idea if the lines are in the right place. The guy had pods on the bike with tape around them to make the bike run (and it ran like crap). There are three lines, one between each carb. The center one goes to the petcock, and the other two were hanging loose. Where do they go? Should I put an adapter so all are fed with gas? Also, the petcock is aftermarket eliminating the need for a vacuum line. I want to make sure he blocked it off, but I don't know where it is supposed to come from anyhow. I have a repair manual and cannot find the answers to my questions anywhere. HELP!

Wow, thanks for the link what a gerat help. Why the vent Ts?
While trying to fit the airbox on, the boots do not fit on all four carbs right, like the box is warped. I got it off ebbay and was wondering if maybe they gave me one for a 750 or something.
Anyways, thanks for all your help.
      Thanks again,
      Russell

Make sure the tubes on the airpox are on right. If you notice they are not strait, the angle slightly to fit the carbs. Try and heat them with a hair dryer and slide em on. The vent T's are for gas overflow, etc.
