My challenge to you...
Help me find a starter clutch set for a 1978 GS1000/E/EC for under $120. That's the cheapest I've found for a new set. Scoured the forum, and found lots of parts dealers, and that's likely a good price, but just thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks in advance for helping this newb! :-DTags: None

A used one? I already found a brand-new one for $120+shipping... Need a special puller to get it off. Don't try to use a 3-arm puller.

These are the places I've looked already, by the way:

Buy parts at a low price for your snowmobile here at Alpha Sports, we carry a LARGE variety of parts and accesories.
I can't find one on z1... IF anyone else can, show me.

If you want to try Z1, you have to call them. They have a lot more than the items that show up on their website.

Well, at the suggestion of the local shop, I purchased a used one on ebay. Guy said it's in working condition, and it was $55 shipped. Here's to hoping it works ok. Thanks for the tip koolaid_kid.
