No master on the stocker. I've heard of people using one on the replacement though. Another option is get a rivet tool http://www.mikesxs.net/mikesxs-tools...ategory_id=7.1

When I rebuit the top end of my 850, I replaced the cam chain. I borrowed my buddy's chain rivet tool. I used it to "break" the old chain and the new chain in two. I pushed the pin from the new chain through the roller of the old chain and used the rivet tool to put it nearly all the way through. I then turned the engine by hand to run the new chain around the crank. I popped the pin back out of the old roller, rejoined the ends of the new chain, pushed the pin through all the way, and repeened the pin in three different positions to ensure it was fastened properly. I have over 10,000 miles on the rebuild and have not had any issues with the new chain. I would recommend this if you have access to a rivet tool, or don't mind investing in one.
