82 gs550L. It was running fine all day. I turned it off for about a half hour while I was working on the petcock. put it all back together. It cranks over real fast, fully charged battery, Its getting fuel. But no spark. Fuses are fine, and Im getting power to the coils. I tried other spark plugs, nothing. What could of happened all of a sudden?

First guess is ignitor or a wiring problem. Check grounds as the first step, and electrical connectors. My old 450 used to do that and I found that disconnecting the plug on the ingitor and putting it back brought the bike back to life.Ed

Well All of a sudden it started back up. One of the spark plugs fouled out, so I replaced it with an old one. The trike runs mint now.Comment

Careful. I had an ignitor do the same thing. It'd work fine for a few hours, then cut out on me leaving me stranded. Then it'd magically fix itself.1980 Gs550e....Not stock... :)Comment
