Chrome spoke wheels for 81 GS750L?

Just picked up my new-to-me 81 750L. Love the bike, but the cast aluminum wheels really take away from the look of the bike, IMO.

Is there a chrome spoked wheel out there that will essentially bolt up to my bike, retaining my dual front discs and rear disc? Bike is chain drive, if that helps.

The earlier wheels from the late 70's GS's should fit, no problems. The only thing is that they are getting hard to find.

What about the brakes? Is switching to that rim going to make me lose the dual front disc and rear disc?

There is the posibility of having to change the forks, if you want to run spoked wheels. The wheels on your motorcycle now are vary stable and handle well with your bike.
There are a few of us here that run L modles.

the first one is a 550 the second a 1100.
