$700? It would be cheaper to just buy a parts bike and hope they didn't leave gas in the tank. That, or for that much just take them to a shop and let them bang their heads on the wall.

Distraction:
Explain to me the theory of operation behind those carbs. Typical carbs meter air with the butterfly flappers, but the CRs don't have 'em, right? How do they work?

I've been thinking about looking into that. There's been lots of GSX1100 (I think) flatslides on ebay lately ~

I got my RS34's here, best price I could find (< $600.00), and great to deal with.
And yes, they do kick A$$. The ease of tuning alone was worth the $$.

Over the past five years, I have read a lot of bad comments about dealing with Old Bike Barn. I cant remember reading a SINGLE positive comment from anyone that has bought from them. Personally, I would not deal with them.

Really guys if you want CR's goto www.Dynoman.net.
They will set you up.
As far as push pull, you can do aftermarket set up or find a bike that came stock with it and use that.
T3 the slides control the air as well as fuel once off the pilot circut, I know I could go into more detail...just a general description..no butter flys...
That is why you should do the push pull throttle, just incase you slide stick open due to the vacuum....
I can change the mains on the bike as well as adjust clips on the needles on the bike....
Power I would say, is a easy 10%.
You can run K&N or Uni or the cheap aftermarket ones. Most say the K&N is better for the top end, but the air filter saga is for another thread.
Over I would say again they where worth every penny I spent on them.
Hope that helps guys...Last edited by Guest; 08-27-2007, 11:27 PM.
