    trying to ID a part

the bike is a GS700es. The location is under the point cover. The part is a plastic unit that bolts into the engine housing, would take a picture but am out of town.

Bike bandit does not show it and I can not find it in my manual. Mine is broken off and I don't have a clue if it warrants replacing or not.

    guidance appreciated.

If it were in the picture where would it be?

it would be the insulator the pigtail attaches to.

I will take a picture this weekend
