Thanks for the advice. This is a new bike for me, I'd like to avoid ordering $50 of the wrong parts if I can.

Throttle cable ?s for 79 550
I'm looking to replace the throttle cables on my 79 550. It has a twin cable push/pull set up. Suzuki lists OEM cables for the E model in my year, but only for a single cable. Are both cables the same, or do I have a weird throttle set up? Most bikes I've looked at here and read descriptions of only talk about one throttle cable.

Thanks. Mine are cracked at the elbow adjusters. They work, but it's sloppy and not right. Hopefully the cables are shorter as well. With the clubmans, the L length cables are a bit garish.

......and just a tip (which you may know already).......The "pull" cable typically gets the most wear and breaks first.......if you're out on the road it's not a terrible job to swap the "push" cable into the "pull" side and ride home (assuming you carry a few tools with you as I do).
