You need to be using a half inch drive impact wrench of some sort. Electric or air either one should do it. It is a right hand thread. Is the crank out of the motor or in it? Ray.

could it possibly have some thread locker on it as well?

Do you mean the ignition rotor (right side) or the alternator rotor (left side)?

Both are held in with bolts, not nuts, and both should have thread locker on them -- you'll have to break through the thread locker to get the bolts to move. An air impact tool is the best way, and it's the only way if the engine is disassembled or out of the bike.

If the engine is still in the bike, you could put the transmission in gear, block the rear wheel, and use a loooooong breaker bar. This requires a lot of care to make sure you aren't building up harmful forces anywhere.

Both are also normal right-hand threads.
