    where can I get carb kits? 82 850GZ

    I need to replace all the o-rings, but I also have a few jets that need to be replaced...the tops are trashed...played hell trying to get them out.

    Lots of places, eBay, oldbikebarn.com, bikebandit.com, OEM from flatoutmotorcycles.com.

      Try to reuse all the brass jets if possible. O-rings are a must. And don't forget the carb boot O-rings - they are almost certain to leak if they are old.

      If you must purchase a carb kit, check Z1 Enterprises. http://www.z1enterprises.com/detail.aspx?ID=507

        I buy stock jets from Dennis Kirk
        I also get carb kits from georgefix off Ebay. Don't use the kits jets. Use oem.

            PLEEEEEEASE do NOT waste your money on carb kits. They are CRAP. Crap, I tell you!

            Simply buy the jets you need individually -- make sure you get Authentic Genuine Actual Mikuni jets, or just order them from your favorite Suzuki parts source. Same with the other parts (needles, seats, etc.) -- order OEM through Suzuki or through a trusted source for Mikuni parts.

            The junk in the carb kits is imprecise, incorrect, and will cause you to go insane. And your toes will fall off and you will never get your bike running right.

            Guess how I figured this out? Go on, guess...

              Hey Brian;

              I bought main jets from crc2onlinecatalog.com. Are these jets OK?

                What brand of carb kits did you order Brian and what were the issues you experienced? I ask because there are different brands, such as Keyster and K&L, and some may be better than others. I have some of the K&L kits from Z1 and the parts look to be pretty good - haven't used all the various components though since I didn't need them. Both K&L and Keyster are made in Japan, which while not a guarante of quality, it does makes me feel fairly confident though.
