    Carb To Air Cleaner Boots

Hi. Does anyone know where I can find and purchase the rubber boots that go between the air cleaner and the carburetors of a '77 GS550B model. This part is not displayed as a part with a number on the AlphaSports.com site and is shown but again with no part number in the official Suzuki Parts Book for that model.

Hope someone can help as I think air leaks here could be part of my wavering idle speed problem.

    Cheers

    Don

Your original post was after 11:00 pm here in the states, where most GSR members live, and your complaint was posted just after 7:00 am. Chill out, man. The GS Hive Mind needs its coffee...

Looking at the fiche, the situation is indeed as you describe -- the boots are not listed separately as they are with most other models. Apparently, they are considered part of the airbox assembly, which is no longer available.

It might be worthwhile to peruse the fiches for similar models that use the same carbs to see if the boots are listed there. Ordering them would be a gamble, though.

Are there any part numbers molded into the boots you have?

      2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...

Please provide details. The GSR Hive Mind is nearly omniscient, but not yet clairvoyant.

Thanks Bowringer. Cant you tell I'm a desperate Aussie. We feel a bit isolated out here and depend on you guys a lot to point us in the right direction. I'll check out other models as you suggested. Cheers.
