Anyone have any info on this... ?

Holy smokes...this will show you what a carb idiot i am...Im not sure, but based on looking at the microfische for the 77GS750B (my bike) it doesnt seem that there are spacers, or a plate, or even needle springs for the model of carbs used (VM26SS) ...can anyone confirm this??

Here's the link to the fiche

.....keep in mind..these are not CV carbs...they are mechanicals..you will have to clairify what you are looking for (is it the diaphrams & springs? if so...not on this set)

This appears to be the exact set up of the slide assembly from my model VMs except according to the fiche above, there dont seem to be the plate the spring or the spacers...

Yeah and mine dont have them...but my concern was that the PO pulled them out...but looking at the way these are set up it doesnt seem they were really there to begin with, there seems to be no need for them as the needle fits up into the actuating arm, it doesnt move or shift around, seems to be the way its supposed to you know what i mean? BUT i was just trying to confirm that i didnt in fact have any components missing...i'll post up a pic...see what you guys think..

Maybe they are an early version of the VM26's? I noticed that the GS550 of the same year is like that, too. Probably not a problem unless you modify anything.

ok 'eres the pics of mine...

heres one taken apart (thats all the parts minus the two screws) and one together..

heres the actuator arm notice the notch for the top of the needle to fit in

and the slide with the needle...notice it sits where it supposed to flush

Am i crazy or does that seem like its the way its supposed to be...i mean the fiche backs it up...man i hope so i thought i was going to have to search for those darn things..

The slides are connected direct with linkage to the throdle, No springs are needed. The BS carbs need the spring because the diaphram is vacuum operated & not connected directly to the linkage

I reponded at your other post too.
If you're positive you have the B model and carbs, then you're not missing any parts. The '77 obviously used an inferior design but that doesn't matter here.
Sorry if I worried you about this.

Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
