These aren't RS carbs are they?

Title says what I'm asking. I bought these on ebay trusting the seller. I have a sinking feeling that these are just Gsxr1100 carbs. Anyone know?

They are CV's. They are flatslides but they aren't RS. Since he lied you should be able to make him refund your money.

Thanks for the reply. Oh well. Caveat emptor. I bought 'em a year ago.

They are semi-flatslide Mikuni Slingshots. Still good carbs but not as well engineered as the RS's which have true flat slides with bearing guides.
These slingshots were fitted to the earlier GSXR's. The face of the slide facing the airbox is flat while the intake side is round like conventional slides. The vertical tube down the outside links the diaphgagm to the float bowl and has an enrichening affect at around 9000rpm, equivalent to increasing the main jet one increment from that point on. Quite revolutionary for their time.

If you're not racing, those CV's really are a good set to have. Much smoother for all around street riding and a whole lot easier on your wrist not to mention you'll get WAY better gas mileage with the CV's.
