    Dual throttle cable?

    Hey Guys,
    I have a 1980 1000et with cvs.
The left hand controls have been replaced after a crash and there is only a single throttle cable.
Is this factory? or did these have dualies?
If not is there a mod to make things a wee bit safer
I only ask because I have had a throttle stick on my race bike and it aint fun!
    Thanks

If you still have the stock CV carbs you only need a one cable setup.

Push/pull throttle assemblies are only used on slide type carbs to make sure the throttle closes.
