    New ignition replacement?

Ive decided to change my complete ignition including the coils on my 1981 GS550T bike. Ive noticed that the spark im getting is weak. Orange to white in colour and very little blue! So i figured with the age of the bike a new ignition should give me a few more years from the bike. Could anyone look at the link below and llet me know if this is a good kit for the money as it comes with miniture high powered coils including which means i get a complete new ignition? I know there is a dyno equivalent but does the kit come with coils also?

The breakerless Dyna will prolly allow you to save replacing the coils. The whole point of the breakerless ignition is quicker release of the circuit, more time charging the coils.

Haven't heard anything bad about the Brandsden ignition. Not sure this is meaningful though. The Dyna S ignition with coils costs about the same amount of money. Not sure which is better.

If you buy it please report back with your experiences.

        good history

That make of ignition is pretty standard for old Triumphs and Nortons, and has a good record of service on those paint-shakers.
