      With your spark plugs out the crank should go round and round w/out resistance. I would first take a look under the clutch cover and see if somethings jammed up. Then the valve cover and oil pan gasket. Most likely the clutch hub is damaged.

      You will not be able to check spark if the engine isn't spinning.
