I got so bored waiting for the stainless bolts that I had the engine covers refinished. Check 'em out.

          Robert,
Check out Burk's Motorsport for stainless screw kits. Very complete and reasonably priced. http://www.westcoastmc.com/store/ind...keyword=gs1000

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I'm already out $40 with shipping. If it doesn't show up tomorrow I may order another one.

Yes, I'm having the same problem with stainlesscycle. I ordered on 1/15 and my card was charged on 1/17. I didn't receive any info from them until 1/28 when they informed me my order was "processing". I just sent them an email and we'll see if I get the runaround.

Sux, because I had three days last weekend to work on my carbs and I couldn't because I didn't have the replacement bolts. Time is hard to come by anymore.

                GS750 8 Valve SS bolts

                I ordered:

                GS750 8 Valve (ordered 1/8/08 )
                http://tinyurl.com/2a5x2o

                Also
                GS1100 SS Engine kit (1/14/08 )
                http://tinyurl.com/2xqqlw

                Also
                GS1150 Carb Kit(1/14/08 )
                http://tinyurl.com/ywjmna

I have only received the first set of bolts but unfortunately they are not what I need (at least they are supposed to be for an 8 valve )and I obviously have the 1981 16 valve TSCC GS750.

If anyboy is dying for these you can have them at my cost $35.99 (I'll ship to you at my total cost from StainlessSteel). I was also given a message about the other orders being delayed because of warehouse moves???

If interested I'll drop you a pic of the bolts so you can do youir own inventory, I dont have an 8 valve GS750.

Gents, next time save yourself the headache, and just get them from Burkes or Z1. The Stainless Cycle sets also can be randomly incomplete. Burkes/Z1 (the get them from burkes) are absolutely complete, and just as cheap. I got mine thru Z1, had em in 3 days.

I don't see where Z1 has the carb bolt set for a 1981 gs550t. I did order a gasket set from them and would have ordered bolts if they were available. I don't see another option for 550 owners except stainlesscycle.

I dunno bout the carb bolts, but i bet they can get them. Burkes will more than likely have them anyway. More than likely the 550 model and 750 model share alot of the common bolts. I would email Z1 and ask. They more than likely have them, if not listed and if not can get them. They are quick to respond, and hands down the most prompt, knowing online company ive dealt with regarding these old bikes.

25 days and counting with no bolts.

Now they won't even answer my emails. I don't know what to do, but at this point I need to figure out how to get my money back.

I saw how ebay no longer allows negative feedback from sellers, so that's an option without fearing retaliatory feedback.

Anyway, I got bored so I installed my 1100e swingarm.

The later GS1100 and Katana ('81 up) came with a neat fabricated alloy swingarm that looked a lot like aftermarket swingarms made during the...

I just received an email from stainlesscycle that said my bolts were shipped and they gave me a tracking number. They also said they got behind due to moving their business to a new location. Hope I get them.
